Conner Ensign Drops League-Best Effort on Friday
Starting off the list is Anderson's Conner Ensign, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Ensign rushed for 101 yards and four touchdowns on only eight carries, and also picked up 104 receiving yards.
Anderson has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. Ensign and Anderson will face off against Lincoln Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Carlson had to settle for second on Friday, but Joe Krolak sure wasn't going down easily. Trenton had no answer to Krolak as he rushed for 176 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.8 yards per carry, and also threw for 151 yards and a touchdown. Krolak's longest rush was for an incredible 79 yards.
The loss snapped Carlson's losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 5-1 record. Krolak and Carlson will welcome Woodhaven at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Jackson Steel Sage Makes It Two for Anderson
The second Anderson player making an appearance here is Jackson Steel Sage, and for good reason. He picked up 54 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 70 yards.
This year, Steel Sage has averaged 150.2 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after six games last season, he was only averaging 1.17 receiving yards per game. This year he is averaging nine receiving yards.

Allen Park Wins Sixth-Straight Thanks to Xaiver Liepe
Xaiver Liepe's big game helped extend Allen Park's winning streak to six on Friday. Liepe did his part (and then some), rushing for 40 yards and a touchdown, while also picking up 34 receiving yards for the 'W'.
Allen Park's win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. Liepe and Allen Park will head out to take on Trenton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
