They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Veritas Christian Academy Eagles 58-56. The Patriots' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jake Markham, who went 6 of 11 on his way to 18 points. Markham continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Landien Turpiano, who went 5 for 11 on his way to 10 points and seven rebounds.
