Meanwhile, Porter's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their ninth straight loss. They fell 41-32 to Pace. Porter has struggled against Pace recently, as their match on Friday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Edcouch-Elsa's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Porter, their loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 1-12.
