Nicolet proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by ten) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past the West Bend East Suns 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Knights have posted since June 4, 2024.
Nick Bongard made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
