Kingman Academy can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent  matchup  on Tuesday. They blew past the St. John Paul II Catholic Lions 10-2. The  win was just what Kingman Academy needed coming off of  a  13-3 loss in their prior  game.
  Cade Benson was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he  struck out six batters over  3.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits (and only one walk). Benson has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  given up  a single  earned run in three consecutive pitching appearances. Benson was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Rilee Otto, who  scored four  runs and  stole seven bases while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more  stolen bases the last five times he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Gavin Hopper, who  scored a  run and  stole three bases while going 1-for-3.
 On St. John Paul II Catholic's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Wyatt Bacome, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Kingman Academy has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five contests,  which provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record  this season. As for St. John Paul II Catholic, they now  have a losing record at 7-8.
 Kingman Academy will head out on the road to  take on  Bagdad at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Bagdad will roll in looking for their  sixth straight  victory, something Kingman Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for St. John Paul II Catholic, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Tempe Prep at 3:45  p.m.  on Friday. St. John Paul II Catholic has given up an average of 7.3 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
