The Richwood Lumberjacks will head out on the road to challenge the Highland Rams at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Richwood is hoping to put an end to an eight-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Richwood suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Friday. They took a serious blow against Greenbrier West, falling 82-49.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Trae Trivolette, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Dalton Spencer was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with two steals.
Even though they lost, Richwood smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Highland's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 55-17 loss at the hands of Eastern Montgomery. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Highland has scored all season.
Richwood's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Highland, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
