Calhoun Academy won the last time they faced Colleton Prep Academy and things went their way on Friday too. The Calhoun Academy Cavaliers came out on top against the Colleton Prep Academy War Hawks by a score of 7-4. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cavaliers.

Calhoun Academy let Cullen Sightler and Crews Felder run wild. Sightler scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-3, while Felder scored three runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. That's the most runs Felder has posted since back in April of 2024. Asher Ficek also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Calhoun Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Colleton Prep Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Calhoun Academy will host Branchville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Calhoun Academy's pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so Branchville's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Colleton Prep Academy, they will welcome Patrick Henry Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Colleton Prep Academy is facing Patrick Henry Academy at the right time seeing as Patrick Henry Academy is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
