They skirted past Carver Vo-Tech 62-60. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Carver Vo-Tech's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kalial Colclough, who scored 14 points along with five assists. Dorrian Sands was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with eight rebounds and six assists.
