Softball Recap: Clover Has No Trouble Against Blythewood

Clover won the last time they faced Blythewood and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Blue Eagles were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over the Bengals. The result was nothing new for the Blue Eagles, who have now won nine matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Clover and bumps their season record up to 14-12. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Blythewood, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-8 record this season.

Clover does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Blythewood, they will take on River Bluff at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Gators have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.04 runs per game on average), something the Bengals will no doubt try to take advantage of.
