Bennett was beaten by Health Sciences Charter 86-27. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Lewis J. Bennett has scored all season.
Amir Moye had a dynamite game for Health Sciences Charter, dropping a double-double on 20 points and ten assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Montrice Webster, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.
Lewis J. Bennett's defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-3. As for Health Sciences Charter, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lewis J. Bennett is on the road again on Thursday and play against East at 6:00 p.m. on December 14th. East is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for Health Sciences Charter, they will head out on the road to face off against St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Friday.
