Warrenton lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Valley Catholic, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's game. The Warriors' pitchers stepped up to hand the Valiants a 6-0 shutout on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won eight matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Warrenton's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Valley Catholic, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Warrenton will challenge Seaside on Saturday. As for Valley Catholic, they will head out to face off against Banks at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Valiants 3.9, the Braves 3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
