Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead South Allegheny to victory, but perhaps none more so than Joey Gamret, who rushed for 107 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 12 carries. Gamret also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making five total tackles. Another player making a difference was Marcel Boxley, who gained 94 total yards and two touchdowns.
Waynesburg Central now has a losing record of 5-6. As for South Allegheny, their victory bumped their record up to 10-1.
