When it comes to explaining why Cedarcrest lost, one person who can't be blamed is Dylan Hartje. Despite the final result, he rushed for 143 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries.
Cascade's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Cedarcrest, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cascade will take on Issaquah at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Issaquah is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Cedarcrest, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Foss at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Foss comes in on a streak of failing to score more than seven points in their last six games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
