Montgomery County will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Lincoln County at 7:30 PM. Montgomery County are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the matchup prepared for a fight.
Montgomery County put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season last Friday. They won the match and then some against Woodford County, taking the match 48-20.
Meanwhile, after having lost a blowout in their game two weeks ago against Southwestern, Lincoln County were happy to find some success last Friday. Lincoln County came out on top against South Laurel by a score of 35-23. The high-flying offensive effort was a definite turnaround from Lincoln County's flat performance the contest before.
Their wins bumped Lincoln County to 7-3 and Montgomery County to 7-2. After the lofty point totals in their previous games, we'll see if they're able to heat things up even more while facing each other.
