The Abraham Lincoln Railsplitters pushed their score all the way to 88 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were just a bucket shy of victory  and fell  89-88 to Bensalem. Despite running the score up even higher than they did  on Wednesday (67), Abraham Lincoln still had to take the loss.
 Several Railsplitters players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Samair  Peterson, who  scored 31 points. The  contest was  Peterson's seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Mason Smith, who  scored 26 points.
 Bensalem's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Antonio Morris, who  scored 30 points along with six  rebounds. The  contest was  Morris' sixth in a row with at least ten points.  Jaidyn Moffitt was another key contributor,  scoring 24 points.
 Abraham Lincoln has  not been sharp recently, as they've  lost three of their last four matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Bensalem, the  victory was  the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.
 Abraham Lincoln will head out on the road to face off against Mastery Charter North - Pickett at 3:15  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Bensalem, they will be playing at home against Central Bucks East at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
