The Pocola Indians will head out on the road to square off against the Idabel Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Pocola is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
Pocola can now show off 18 landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 93-49 victory over Panama. Pocola's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Meanwhile, Idabel entered their tilt with Kingston with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Idabel walked away with a 54-45 win over Kingston on Monday.
It was another big night for John paul Sumo, who scored 25 points. Sumo is crushing the point category: he's posted at least 16 every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Shane Threadgill, who scored 13 points.
Pocola pushed their record up to 19-0 with that victory, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.4 points per game. As for Idabel, their win bumped their record up to 18-4.
