Northwest is 9-1 against Triway since December of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Northwest Indians will head out on the road to face off against the Triway Titans at 1:30 p.m. Northwest will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 533rd, while Triway is ranked 147th).
Northwest's 27-3 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They took a 54-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Washington on Monday.
Meanwhile, Triway scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 77-14 win over Crestview. Triway has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 20 points or more this season.
Northwest's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Triway, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-4.
Northwest might still be hurting after the 54-34 defeat they got from Triway in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. Can Northwest avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
