Having soared to a lofty 62 points in the game before, Franklin Academy couldn't push the score so high this time.
Meanwhile, Kemper Academy had to suffer through a rough 54-14 loss at the hands of Calhoun Academy. While losing is never fun, Kemper Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi football rankings (they are ranked 25th, while Calhoun Academy is ranked fourth).
Franklin Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Kemper Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.
