Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is Horace's Eighth in Last Nine Outings

Horace had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on the Grand Forks Central Knights with a sharp 95-75 win on Tuesday. Horace has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 20 points or more this season.

Horace is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 90.4 points over those games. Grand Forks Central has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season.

Horace does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Grand Forks Central, they will challenge Bismarck at 4:00 p.m. on March 13th. Bismarck knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 23 games -- so hopefully Grand Forks Central likes a good challenge.
