Tri-County RVT came out on top against Diman RVT on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run seventh inning. The Cougars walked away with a 9-6 win over the Bengals. The victory continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Bengals: they've now won five in a row.

Tri-County RVT's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Diman RVT, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Tri-County RVT is set to square off against their familiar foe Bristol-Plymouth RVT at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Cougars 2.4, the Craftsmen 3.1) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Diman RVT will face off against rival Southeastern RVT at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
