The Sedgwick County Cougars will head out on the road to face off against the Mancos Bluejays at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Sedgwick County walked away with it. They blew past West Grand 56-26 on the road. Sedgwick County pushed the score to 56-12 by the end of the third, a deficit West Grand cut but never quite recovered from.

Carlson really tore up the turf during one magnificent 73-yard run. Sedgwick County also got help from Noah Lopez who showed off his sure hands for 103 receiving yards.
Meanwhile, Mancos faced Fowler in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Mancos didn't even let Fowler onto the board and left with a 52-0 victory on Friday. Winning may never get old, but Mancos sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Kail Wayman continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 209 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Chris Medina, who rushed for 70 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries.
Their wins bumped Sedgwick County to 6-4 and Mancos to 9-1.
Saturday's matchup might be decided on the ground as these two are both standouts in the run game. Sedgwick County has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 262.7 rushing yards per game.
