This season hasn't been kind to the Bryan Bears, who are still winless after their 11th game. They had to suffer through a rough 57-3 loss at the hands of Elkhorn South. Bryan was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 29-0.
Elkhorn South got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Reegan Marasco out in front who scored eight points along with ten rebounds and five assists. That's the first time this season that Marasco pulled down eight or more rebounds. Alaina Brown was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven steals.
Bryan bumped their record down to 0-11 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Elkhorn South, the win got them back to even at 7-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bryan will take on Grand Island at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Grand Island is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Elkhorn South, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Lincoln North Star at 5:30 p.m. on January 23rd.
