The Skutt Catholic SkyHawks will head out to face off against Elkhorn North at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Skutt Catholic comes in on five and Elkhorn North on three.
Skutt Catholic proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by seven) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 win over Elkhorn. The four-run effort marked the SkyHawks' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Max Yager tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out nine over 5.1 innings pitched.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Jake Janssen, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-3.
Elkhorn North's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.6 runs over those games. As for Skutt Catholic, their record is now 5-1.
Saturday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Skutt Catholic hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .324. However, it's not like Elkhorn North struggles in that department as they've averaged .333. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
