The Port Neches-Groves Indians will square off against the Huntsville Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Port Neches-Groves sitting on 12 straight wins and Huntsville on three.
With a playoff game on the line, Port Neches-Groves rose to the challenge on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 30-27 win over the Lions.

Meanwhile, Huntsville has more to be thankful for after their matchup against Randle on Friday. Huntsville won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Randle 14-13.
Port Neches-Groves' victory bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Huntsville, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.
Port Neches-Groves lost to Huntsville on the road by a decisive 27-10 margin in their previous matchup back in September of 2019. Thankfully for Port Neches-Groves, Cameron Myers (who rushed for 49 yards and two touchdowns, and also caught a touchdown) won't be suiting up this time.
