The North Davidson Black Knights scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They really took it to Montgomery Central for the full four quarters, racking up a 86-27 win at home. The result was nothing new for North Davidson, who have now won five matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.
North Davidson's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Coen Miller, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Payton Eccles, who scored 16 points.
The win makes it two in a row for North Davidson and bumps their season record up to 10-5. As for Montgomery Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
North Davidson will head out on the road to face off against Oak Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Oak Grove is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home. Montgomery Central will take on Ledford at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ledford is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
