SAN DIEGO, Calif. - the Dons had a big 21-point first quarter on Saturday, sealing a 38-0 victory over Lincoln (San Diego, Calif.).
Cathedral Catholic scored on a touchdown run by
Chris Moliga, a
Drew Cowelll touchdown run and a
Clayton Dale touchdown pass to Moliga in the quarter.
After taking the lead on a Moliga touchdown run in the first quarter, CC was up 31-0 at the half.
The Dons expanded their lead to 38 points entering the fourth quarter. Cathedral Catholic scored once in the quarter on a touchdown run by
Joshua Gizzi.
CC came into the game allowing 11.8 points per game. Lincoln's zero points were well below their season average of 15.8 per game.
With the win the Dons extended their winning streak to four games.
In a Eastern game next week Lincoln (1-6) takes on Scripps Ranch, and Cathedral Catholic (6-1) will go up against St. Augustine also in a Eastern game.
