If The Pacheco Panthers were feeling good off their 36-12 takedown of the Beyer Patriots last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Pacheco took a 26-16 hit to the loss column at the hands of Los Banos on Friday. While losing is never fun, Pacheco can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 728th, while Los Banos is ranked 282nd).
When it comes to explaining why Pacheco lost, one person who can't be blamed is Abel Bravo. Despite the final result, he rushed for 181 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for a yards and a touchdown while completing 100% of his passes. Bravo was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 50 yards.
Pacheco's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Los Banos, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.
Pacheco does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Los Banos also has no future games currently scheduled.
