The James Madison Warhawks were the 50-37 winner over the Langley Saxons when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. James Madison took a 48-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of Langley. James Madison has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Anya Rahman continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Langley, scoring 20 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 assists. The game was Rahman's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Daley, who scored 9 points along with 9 rebounds.
James Madison's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Langley, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
James Madison will head out on the road to face off against Meridian at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Langley, they will face off against Forest Hills at 12:20 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Forest Hills focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Thursday.
