Softball Recap: Gregori Now 10-2 over Last 12 Games

Gregori never let their opponents score on Thursday. They blew past the Pitman Pride 11-0. Considering the Jaguars have won nine contests by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Gregori got a massive performance out of Kaliyah Mauia, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of Angelina Hoffman, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Gregori lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in April of 2024.

Gregori is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.9 runs over those games. As for Pitman, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gregori will welcome Beyer at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Patriots' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Jaguars' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Pitman, they will host Gustine at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday.
