Dubois extended the longest winning streak in 6-Man North (6 Man) this week by beating Ten Sleep, 57-6. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
Meeteetse made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 1,103 from 1,206. The improvement was the result of 66-52 victory over Kaycee last week.
The Buckaroos' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. James Caro threw for 210 and three touchdowns and Hayden Fauber had 117 yards receiving. On the ground Phillip Renkert chipped in 154 yards. Garrett Kremers helped Kaycee's passing attack out by catching two balls for 37 yards.
Kyle Tea made the biggest impact on defense this week as Dubois bested the Pioneers. The 5-foot-7 senior grabbed two interceptions.
Kaycee's Caro and Fauber have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Caro has thrown for 1071 yards this season, while Fauber, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 22 catches for 498 yards. Sterling Baker from David Trembly's team leads the league in rushing with 966 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Ten Sleep and the Longhorns. Jake Zent's team enters the game ranked eighth in the state, while Meeteetse ranks sixth.
The Rams' Baker needs only 34 yards against HEM next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season.
