The Southeast Cyclones have been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They lost to Pine Bluffs at home by a decisive 51-37 margin on Friday. Southeast has not had much luck with Pine Bluffs recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Southeast's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Kannon Tippets, who scored nine points along with six rebounds, and TJ Moats who scored nine points along with six rebounds and two blocks.
Southeast's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Pine Bluffs, their victory bumped their record up to 3-10.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Mitchell the next time they take the court. Pine Bluffs will head out to face Mitchell at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Southeast will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
