The Westville Tigers struggled with  assists on Thursday (the Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin Blue Devils had eight more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Westville took a  50-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Westville of the  51-26 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in January.
 Despite the loss, Westville still got an impressive performance from   Aubrie Jenkins, who  scored ten points.
  Elizabeth McMahon was nothing short of spectacular for Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin: she  scored 18 points along with three  blocks. It was the first time this season that  McMahon  posted two or more  blocks.  Ava Acton was another key contributor,  scoring seven points along with six  rebounds.
 Westville's defeat was  their tenth straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 5-22. Those losses could be blamed on the team's  offensive performance across that stretch, as  they only averaged 25.7 points per game. As for Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin, they now  have a winning record of 15-14.
 Westville will head out on the road to  square off against  Warrensburg-Latham at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Hopefully Westville focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 13 on Thursday. As for Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin, they will square off against St. Thomas More at 7:30  p.m.  on Monday.
