The Tescott Trojans had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell to Lakeside 53-48. Tescott has not had much luck with Lakeside recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Lakeside was led to victory by Reece Remus and Jorden Schoen. Remus dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds, while Schoen scored 13 points along with 6 rebounds. Kaden McCoy was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 3 steals.
Tescott's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Lakeside, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Tescott will take on Southern Cloud co-op [Miltonvale/Glasco] at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lakeside, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Thunder Ridge on Friday.
