Despite the defeat, City of Life Christian Academy got a solid performance out of Talia St Hilaire, who scored 14 points along with 7 rebounds and 6 steals. St Hilaire scored a full 82.4% of City of Life Christian Academy's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Meanwhile, Legacy Charter had to suffer through a rough 67-23 loss at the hands of South Lake. Legacy Charter has not had much luck with South Lake recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Despite the loss, Legacy Charter got a solid performance out of Mallory Daniels, who scored 16 points along with 5 steals. Daniels scored a full 69.6% of Legacy Charter's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Brooke Smith was another key contributor, scoring 2 points.
City of Life Christian Academy's win lifted them to 1-1 while The First Academy's loss dropped them down to 2-2.
Things could have been worse for City of Life Christian Academy, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 52-33 loss to Legacy Charter in their previous matchup back in February.
