Hanover's defeat came about despite a quality game from Tyler Decker, who posted 14 points and six steals. Decker has been hot, having posted three or more steals the last five times he's played. Junior Diaz was another key player, putting up five points in addition to six boards and three steals.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Kit Carson, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They strolled past South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 60-45.
Hanover better keep an eye on Josiah Irwin. He was instrumental in Kit Carson's win, dropping a double-double with 28 points and 12 rebounds. Those 28 points gave Irwin a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brennan Framel, who had six points along with eight boards and five assists.
