Millicent Wurst put up the most strikeouts she's had since back in May on Friday. She struck out 14 batters over six innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Wurst and South Anchorage will challenge Colony at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Wolverines are 7-1 against the Knights going back to April of 2017, a lead they'll look to extend.
