The West Warwick Wizards lost to the Cranston West Falcons back in December of 2022, but the West Warwick Wizards didn't allow the Cranston West Falcons the same satisfaction on Sunday. West Warwick came out on top against Cranston West by a score of 54-45.
West Warwick had a senior duo take command as Liz Gresin scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and five assists and Lex Herceg scored 15 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Lex Foley, who scored eight points.
The victory got West Warwick back to even at 1-1. As for Cranston West, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Warwick will take on Mt. Pleasant at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cranston West, they will be playing at home against Westerly at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
