Leading Coolidge to victory were Alaysia White and Naylissa Charles. White dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten rebounds, while Charles scored 30 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which White has scored at least a third of Coolidge's points. Amaira Miguel was another key contributor, scoring six points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Coolidge pushed their record up to 13-7 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 43.67 points. As for Florence, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-12.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Coolidge will challenge San Tan Foothills at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. San Tan Foothills has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 20. As for Florence, they will head out on the road to challenge Globe at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Globe is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.
