Era is 1-9 against Lindsay since December of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Era Hornets will head out on the road to face off against the Lindsay Knights at 8:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Era has four straight victories, Lindsay has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Muenster typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Era proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 59-47 victory over the Hornets. 59 seems to be a good number for Era as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Meanwhile, Lindsay lost to Collinsville at home by a decisive 58-39 margin on Tuesday.
Era is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 18-12 record this season. As for Lindsay, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 15 of their last 16 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-20 record this season.
Era didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Lindsay in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 49-45 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Era since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
