The Easton Area Rovers can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They walked away with a 46-39 victory over Nazareth Area. For Easton Area, this counts as revenge for the 67-52 loss the Blue Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.
Easton Area's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ryan Cornish, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Adonis Pompilus, who scored 12 points.
Easton Area's win bumped their record up to 7-14. As for Nazareth Area, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Easton Area will take on the Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Nazareth Area, they will head out on the road to square off against the Hurricanes at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
