Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for The Keystone Panthers, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They had to suffer through a rough 54-14 loss at the hands of Port Allegany. Keystone has not had much luck with Port Allegany recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Although Keystone took the loss, they still got scores from Dom Corcetti and Eli Nellis.
Leading Port Allegany to victory were Peyton Stiles and Aiden Bliss. Stiles gained 142 total yards and four touchdowns, while Bliss rushed for 188 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Nick Wilfong, who threw for 147 yards and two touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes.
Keystone's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Port Allegany, their win was their 11th straight at home (dating back to last season), which pushed their record up to 9-2.
Keystone does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Port Allegany will face off against Brockway at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Brockway focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up four on Friday.
