After a string of three wins, the Madison Dodgers's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They lost to Morris Catholic on the road by a decisive 63-49 margin. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Madison in their matchups with Morris Catholic: they've now lost nine in a row.
Morris Catholic's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mia Pauldo, who scored 19 points along with five assists and five rebounds. The matchup was Pauldo's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mya Pauldo, who scored 12 points along with six steals and five assists.
Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 3-1. As for Morris Catholic, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
