The Brewbaker Tech Rams will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against the Park Crossing Thunderbirds at 8:00 p.m. on November 30th. Brewbaker Tech will be strutting in after a win while Park Crossing will be coming in after a defeat.
Even though Trinity Presbyterian scored an imposing 57 points on Monday, Brewbaker Tech still came out on top. Brewbaker Tech took their game against Trinity Presbyterian 70-57.
Brewbaker Tech relied on the efforts of Kevin Honer, who scored 19 points along with 8 rebounds, and Tyler Dixon, who scored 26 points. That makes it five consecutive games in which Honer has scored at least 25% of Brewbaker Tech's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Johnathan Williams, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Park Crossing was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap two weeks ago as they fell 55-51 to Lanier. Park Crossing has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Pike Road's win bumped their season record to 0-0 while Brewbaker Tech's loss dropped theirs to 1-7.
Brewbaker Tech came up short against Park Crossing when the teams last played back in November of 2021, falling 63-54. Can Brewbaker Tech avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
