If the MaxPreps national rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Central Plains. They will take on Moundridge at home at 7:00 PM on Friday. Central Plains have bulldozed their previous five opponents, so Moundridge might have their hands full.
Last Friday, Central Plains put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season. They put a hurting on Skyline to the tune of 56-0. The win was familiar territory for Central Plains, who now have six in a row.
Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Moundridge against St. John as the team secured a 54-6 victory.
Their wins bumped Moundridge to 3-3 and Central Plains to 6-0. Given their high-scoring efforts against their previous opponents, it will be interesting to see how far up these teams can run up the score.
