Darien Whitaker Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Starting off the list is Boys Town's Darien Whitaker, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Whitaker made seven total tackles (1.0 for loss), good enough to also set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 110.1 rushing yards per game.
This season, Whitaker has averaged 6.8 total tackles per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had six rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to 16.

On the season, Post has caught 3 touchdowns while averaging 43.1 receiving yards per game.

Rounding off our Top Five is Akhil Mehta of Brownell Talbot. Mehta made two total tackles.
