Alpharetta has been on the road for four straight, but on Saturday they'll finally head home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Pensacola Tigers at 1:00 p.m.
Last Thursday, things could have been worse for Alpharetta, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 63-47 loss to Archbishop Hannan. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Alpharetta has scored all season.
Pensacola can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game last Friday. They pulled ahead with a 46-45 photo finish over Escambia.
Pensacola's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Noah Jones led the charge by scoring nine points along with nine rebounds and three steals. Those three steals set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Nick Jones, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds.
Alpharetta now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Pensacola, their win bumped their record up to an identical 4-5.
