It was a good run, but the First Coast Buccaneers unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They were beaten by Ribault 76-49. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for First Coast in their matchups with Ribault: they've now lost five in a row.
Caleb Williams was his usual excellent self, scoring 22 points for Ribault. Williams hasn't dropped below 15points for nine straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamian Jackson, who scored 15 points.
First Coast's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-6. As for Ribault, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. First Coast will take on West Nassau at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Ribault, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mandarin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Mandarin's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 12 contests.
