Baseball Recap: Red Bluff Takes a Loss

Red Bluff lost against Shasta last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Red Bluff came up short against Shasta, falling 10-2. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Red Bluff saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jett Bonham, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Bonham also put up a double, which was his first of the season.

Red Bluff now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Shasta, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Red Bluff will face off against Pleasant Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pleasant Valley's pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so Red Bluff's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Shasta, they will square off against Foothill at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Shasta's pitchers better be ready for this one: Foothill has averaged an impressive 8.8 runs per game this season.
