The Cedar Valley Aviators had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. The match between Cedar Valley and Bountiful wasn't particularly close, with Cedar Valley falling 74-56. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Cedar Valley's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Scott Sorenson, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hunter Larson, who scored 14 points.
Cedar Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Bountiful, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cedar Valley will challenge Hillcrest at 7:00 p.m. on December 8th. As for Bountiful, they will head out on the road to face off against Skyridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
