Make it ten blowout wins for the South Bulldogs this season. They blew past Marion-Franklin, posting a 69-15 win on the road. The win was just what South needed coming off of a 93-23 defeat in their prior match.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead South to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gabby Grimes, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and five steals. J'Khyla Foster was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with six steals and five assists.
South's victory bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Marion-Franklin, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season.
South will be playing in front of their home fans against Columbus International at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Columbus International focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Friday. As for Marion-Franklin, they will head out on the road to challenge Fairfield Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Fairfield Christian Academy will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
